The Colour of Glass

REVIEWER – MONICA BUCH

Gabrielle Macdonald has written a heartfelt play based on a true story of friendship between two women from childhood to adulthood, devastated by mental illness and murder.

Karen Sibbing and Georgina Durham are strong actors who transformed into dramatic characters and who brought Macdonald’s story to life.

As the title suggests, The Colour of Glass is transparent but chameleon-like in nature. La Mama Theatre provided the raw and intense backdrop for an intensely dramatic story directed by Andrew Gray.
